Robert “Nancy Hanks” Slocum (Football) – A native of Macon, Georgia, was All – SEAC in 1950 – 1951 and 1951 – 1952 at halfback. He led the 1950 football team to the 1950 – 1951 Southeastern Athletic Conference (SEAC) football championship. He was also chosen as a two time Pittsburgh Courier All – American football player in 1950 – 1951 and 1951 – 1952.
