Arthur Dwight (Football) – He was a great punter, halfback, and scorer on the 1929 – 31 football team. He punted for 76 yards against Paine College in a 6 – 0 win in the thirties. In many other games Dwight averaged over 45 yards a punt. He coached the Georgia State College (now Savannah State University) football team from 1935 – 1939.
