was a three-year letterman (1990-92) in football as a wide receiver. In 1990, the Atlanta, GA native set the single season record for receptions (63)-which broke the record of 61 receptions set by Shannon Sharpe in 1989. In 1990, he also set the single season record in yardage (1,026) and touchdowns (11) for 66 points. In 1991, and in 1992, he led the team in receiving, total yards and punt returns. He was named All-SIAC first team wide receiver in 1990, 1991 and 1992. Grant was named to the 1991-92 Black College Sports All America Team. At the end of the 1991-92 football season, Grant was named the top punt returner in the NCAA Division II with a 17.4 yards per return average.
Grant graduated from Savannah State in 1995 with a degree in business management. Currently, he is a independent contractor who is authorized to sell ADT home security contracts in the Atlanta area. He also works with youth recreation baseball in Decatur, GA.
