Hall of Fame
was a three-year letterman (1984-86) in football as a running back. Grigley led the team in rushing in 1984, 1985 and 1986. In 1986, he gained 1,163 yards, becoming the first statistically documented running back to gain 1,000 rushing yards from scrimmage in the modern era of Savannah State football. Grigley was voted to the All-SIAC Team as a running back in 1986.
Grigley graduated from Savannah State in 1987 with a degree in mechanical engineering technology. He has worked at Railway Packaging System (RPS), now owned by Fed-EX and Daimler-Chrysler in the past. Currently, he works as a running back coach at Morrow High School in Morrow, GA. Grigley married his college sweetheart, the former Anjanette Walker, and they have three children.
