ATLANTA, Ga.- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Women's Track and Field All-SIAC teams Tuesday, recognizing student-athletes for their performances during the regular season.
Among those recognized was Savannah State's
Macada McDonald who was named to the All-SIAC Second Team in the 100m hurdles.
The freshman from Lithonia, Georgia had a SSU recording breaking time of 14.52 at the Sharonda Coleman-Singleton Classic in Oranageburg, South Carolina on April 19.2025.
The previous SSU record was held by Jaylen Sewell who ran a 14.54 at the Savannah State Tiger Relays in 2020.
Other 100m hurdle times posted by McDonald this outdoor season include 14.71 (Alice Coachman Invite) and 14.84 (SSU Orange & Blue Classic).
