ATLANTA, Ga.- Kionna Chance finished second in the triple jump and 12th in the long jump at the Morehouse Relays. The three-day event was held at Edwin Moses Track at B.T. Harvey Stadium on the Morehouse campus.
A freshman from Auburn, Georgia, Chance had a leap of 11.41m in the triple jump and had a jump of 4.73m in the long jump.
Camille Tinsley finished 24th in the 400m hurdles after her run of 1:22.29 while
Alana Jones came in 20th in the 200m race and
Yahaisha Ramsey placed 24th. Jones posted a time of 26.53 while Ramsey crossed the finish line after being clocked at 27.55.
As a team, Savannah State had eight points and came in 11th out of 13 teams.
Winston-Salem State won the meet with 172 points followed by Albany State (159) and Tuskegee (145) to round out the top three teams.
