STATESBORO, Ga.-Lauren Clark took home first place in four events at the Southern Relays which was held Friday and Saturday at Georgia Southern.
Clark won the hammer throw (26.62m), discus (31.22m) and the shot put (9.15m).
The Savannah State 4x200m relay team of
Yahaisha Ramsey,
Aneya Kight,
Macada McDonald and
Saniya Swain won their race with a time of 1:47.61.
SSU finished third overall with a score of 84 points.
Georgia Southern won the meet with 251 points followed by Asbury (113), SSU and Webber (52).
The Lady Tigers 4x100m team of
Nasiya Thomas, McDonald,
Victoria Taylor and
Kinya Jackson was second in their race with a time of 50.18.
In the 400m hurdles, McDonald finished third with a run of 1:05.12 while Swain was fourth with a time of 1:07.94.
Swain was also fourth in the triple jump (9.98m) and the 100m hurdles (15.89) and was seventh in the long jump with a jump of 4.33m.
In the 100m race, Taylor was fourth with a time of 12.85 and Kight was right behind her in fifth with a run of 13.01. Others in the 100m race were
Samyah Berry (7th), Thomas, Ramsey (8th), Jackson (11th) and
Taylor Clark (12th).
Taylor finished eighth in the 200m race with a run of 26.40. Thomas was 10th, Jackson was 11thy, Ramsey finished 12th and
Taylor Clark was 16th.
