RMINGHAM, Ala.- Macada McDonald finished her 60m hurdles race with a time of 9.04m, setting a new SSU women's indoor track & field record, to place seventh at the Samford Bulldog Open on Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham Metro Cross Plex.
Saniya Swain, who finished 13th in the 60m hurdles with a run of 10.62, also competed in the triple jump and the long jump for Savannah State. Swain was 11th in the triple jump with her leap of 9.92m and finished 23rd in the long jump with a jump of 4.26m.
In the throwing events, Lauren Clark was 13th in the weight throw (9.25m) and 15th in the shot put (8.57m).
Paidela Vaughn finished 18th in the 800m race with a run of 2:46.96 and
Aneya Kight crossed the finish line at 31st in the 200m race with her time of 27.88
Victoria Taylor competed in the 60m and 400m races where she crossed the finish line in 24th in the 60m at 8.16 while finishing 26th in the 400m race at 1:04.42.
