Da'Aliyah Johnson won the long jump event and finished third in the triple jump to lead Savannah State at the 44th edition of the Morehouse Relays. The event took place March 28-30 at the Edwin C Moses Track.

Da'Aliyah Johnson had a leap of 5.28m in the long jump and finished the triple jump with a jump of 11.07m.

Sadrea Mabry was fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 10.92m and
Ky'Leigha Robinson was sixth in the long jump with a jump of 4.62m.

MaCayla Moody was ninth in the shot put with her throw of 9.95m.

In the running events,
Shaniah McDaniel (15.31) was sixth in the 100m hurdles and
Ky'Leigha Robinson (15.81) came in eighth while
Maddison Green (1:09.53) placed seventh in the 400m hurdles.

Kinya Jackson finished 13th in the 400m race with a time of 1:06.40 while in the 100m race, Shanial McDaniel was 13th with her run of 12.82 and
Nadia Mathews came in 19th with a time of 13.04.

In the 200m competition,
Nadia Mathews was 16th with a run of 26.82 and
Kinya Jackson was 21st after being timed at 27.74.

As a team, Savanna State came in eighth place in the ten team event with 29 points.
Â
Albany State won the team event with 197.5 points followed by Clark Atlanta (190.5), Central State (121), Fort Valley State (74) and Kentucky State (65) to round out the top five.

The Lady Tigers will travel to Georgia Southern on April 6 to compete in the Georgia Showdown
