ATLANTA, Ga.- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has named Savannah State's Jaden Saunders as the conference's February  Golfer of the Month.
 
The announcement was made March 13, 2024 on a release by the SIAC marketing a communications department.
 
Saunders won the Division II individual title at the Arcis HBCU Golf Championship. The tournament was played at The Club at Weston Hills on February 25-26, 2024.  
 
The junior from Acworth, Georgia opened the tournament with a 70, making birdies on the second and sixth holes as he shot for par 16 times.  In the second round, he made one double bogey and two bogeys but made birdies on the first, eighth, 10th and 11th holes and shot for par 11 times. The final round saw Saunders made bogeys on the fourth, eighth and 14th holes while shooting for par 15 times. He ended the tournament with a score of 217 (70-72-75).
