This Week In Tiger Nation | Dec. 13 - Dec. 19

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah State basketball closes out the calendar year this week on the road. The fall delivered some exciting basketball in Tiger Arena with more on the short horizon. January is jammed packed with seven home basketball doubleheaders, beginning on Jan. 2, 2023.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Lady Tigers opened the season with six consecutive wins before dropping a non-conference game to Anderson University—a South Atlantic Conference (SAC) and NCAA Division II member. They close out the calendar year with two key Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) matches and a final non-conference game.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Tigers have been on and off this season, with a 4-3 overall record. But in their last outing, they proved they were not to be underestimated. They forced a ranked Miles team into overtime and got the big win for a 2-1 conference record. They close the calendar year with two SIAC road games.
