Savannah, Ga. – Savannah State Athletics has officially entered the winter season with fall sports closing the door on successful seasons earlier this month. Basketball is back and both teams are set to defend titles this season.
 
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Lady Tigers opened the new season with two road non-conference wins last week. They hope to parlay that momentum into the first two games of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) schedule.

The Tigers opened the season with a big win in Tiger Arena last week. This week, they head out on a three-game road swing. They will play a non-conference game on Tuesday before opening the SIAC schedule over the weekend.
