SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah State football, volleyball, and cross country are in the home stretch of the regular season schedules.
 
Volleyball will play three matches this week, one on the road and two at home. Football returns home this Saturday for a big ESPN game. Cross country returns to North Carolina for their penultimate meet of the regular season.
 
FOOTBALL
Into week eight, football will face Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) East Division foe Albany State live on ESPN+. The Tigers are coming off a disappointing loss to Clark Atlanta last week as they head into the final three weeks of the season.

VOLLEYBALL
The Lady Tigers hope to build on their four game win-streak this week with three key SIAC East Division matches. They open the week with a road game against Clark Atlanta on Monday before hosting Fort Valley State on Wednesday and Clark Atlanta on Friday in Savannah.

CROSS COUNTRY
The men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2022 campaign on Sept. 23 at the Queens City Open. Defending SIAC Champion Kayla Chance secured another first place finish in the meet. The teams return to Charlotte, N.C. this Friday for the JWU Wildcat Classic, hosted by Johnson & Wales University.
