SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah State University women's basketball team (2-1) travels to Ames, Iowa to face Big 12 opponent Iowa State University (3-0) Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.

Jeremica Edwards added eight points, 11 rebounds and two steals.
Davis was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. The Athens, Ga., native narrowly missed on a double-double with nine rebounds and 11 points against Alabama State University, who won the Southwestern Athletic Conference last season, last Tuesday. Davis also added six blocks and four steals and went 4-for-6 from the floor.
After three games, Davis leads the MEAC in rebounds per game (14.3), blocks per game (4.3), offensive rebounds per game (6.7) and defensive rebounds per game (7.7).
Davis' 13 blocked shots ranks seventh in the National Collegiate Athletic Association and her 4.33 blocks per game ranks third in the NCAA. She also ranks second in the country in offensive rebounds, 16
th in rebounds, second in rebounds per game and 24
th in defensive rebounds.
Hendrix needs five made 3-point field goals to set a school-record in the Division I era. The Carrollton, Ga., native has recorded 149 career 3-pointers, ranks sixth with 922 points, 20 points from fifth place, and fifth in field goals made with 326.
Davis became the second player in school history in the Division I era to record 200-plus blocks in a career. The Athens, Ga., native has recorded 208 career blocks and trails first place by 16 blocks. Davis already holds the school record with 761 career rebounds and ranks ninth in made field goals with 310 and 10
th in points with 707.
The Cyclones have won all three games at home this season with wins over UCSB (77-60), Northern Iowa (76-68) and Drake (75-67). Iowa State is led by Jadda Buckley with 18.0 points per game, while Senna Johnson is averaging 15.7 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game and Bridget Carleton is averaging 15.0 points per game.
The Lady Tigers continue the two-game roadstand traveling to Kennesaw, Ga., to face Kennesaw State University Saturday at noon.
