Biography

2015-16: Played in 26 of the 28 games and started 21 games, including starting 16 of the final 18 games … was second on the team with a 46.2 (80-for-173) shooting percentage, which ranked 10th in the MEAC and averaged 6.9 points per  game, 4.3 rebounds per game, 1.2 assists per game and 1.2 steals per game … set a career-high 18 points and eight made field goals against Columbia College (11/13), nine rebounds at Hampton (1/23) and four steals three times with the last time at Florida A&M (1/1) … in conference only, Edwards averaged 7.3 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game while shooting 48.1 (52-for-108) percent from the floor, which ranked 10th in the conference.

Personal: Born on August 23, 1995 … majoring in History and post college plans are to play overseas and to teach high school in inner cities … parents are Brenda Ledlow and Darius Mimms … expected to graduate in 2017 … hobbies include watching television, shopping, poetry and chilling with friends … also recruited by the Naval Academy, Lamar, McNeese, Lousiana-Lafayette, East Carolina and Western Kentucky.
