NOTES:
> Savannah State returns to Tiger Arena after earning the program's best Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) road swing (3-1) to date; earning wins over N.C. A&T State, N.C. Central and Delaware State.
> The Lady Tigers have been stellar at home over the last two years. They are currently 14-4 in Tiger Arena since the beginning of the 2013-14 season. However, SSU remains 0-2 against Hampton at home.
> This will be the 5th game in the series between SSU and Hampton. The Lady Pirates lead 4-0.
> In their last meeting, in a semifinal game of the 2014 MEAC Championship Tournament, SSU and Hampton were tied at 25 at the half. The Lady Pirates put up 40 points in the second half to beat SSU 65-49, and end the Lady Tigers 2013-14 season.
> Hampton comes into the game 5-0 in the MEAC this season, and are 62-2 over the last five years in MEAC play.
> SSU is 3-2 in conference, and led by MEAC Preseason Player of the Year Ezinne Kalu (17.3 pts/g), and senior Jasmine Norman (10.4 pts/g).
