> Savannah State concludes a four-game Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) road stretch with a visit to Maryland Eastern Shore and Delaware State this weekend.
> The Lady Tigers garnered the program's first back-to-back MEAC road victories this past weekend, edging out N.C. A&T State by three points, and routing N.C. Central by double-digits.
> SSU and UMES are currently tied for third place in the MEAC standings, each with a 2-1 conference mark. This will be the ninth meeting in the series with the Lady Hawks holding the 5-3 advantage.
> The Lady Tigers last met UMES on Jan. 4, 2014 in Savannah. SSU rolled past the Lady Hawks with a 63-46 victory.
> MEAC Preseason Player of the Year, and SSU redshirt senior, Ezinne Kalu led the Lady Tigers in their last game with UMES, scoring 21 points.
> Kalu leads the team in her final season, averaging 17.7 points an outing. She's finished in double-digits in 13 games this season and leads the Lady Tigers in assists with 50. She is also tied for first in the MEAC in steals, with 2.9 a game.
