ATLANTA, Ga.-The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced their Softball Players of the Week Tuesday afternoon. For the second time in three weeks, Savannah State junior pitcher
Donnea Allen earned the conference's Pitcher of the Week award.
The North Port, Florida native logged two complete games last week, allowing just four earned runs on 10 hits while striking out 11 and limiting opponents to a .185 batting average across 62 batters faced. She opened the week with an eight-inning complete-game effort in a 4-3 win over Flagler, surrendering three earned runs and striking out five while working through 36 batters. Allen followed with a seven-inning complete game in a 4-1 victory over Clark Atlanta, allowing just two hits and one earned run while striking out six and holding the Panthers to a .083 average.
