ROME, Ga.- Savannah State began the three-day SIAC Roundup on Wednesday afternoon with matches against Spring Hill and Albany State.
The Lady Tigers lost to Spring Hill 7-0 and the match with Albany State was cut short because of rain.
Against the Badgers,
Madeleine Anne Nolan lost her singles match 6-4,7-5 as did
Nyla Warner (6-3, 6-1),
Katelynn Welch (6-1, 6-0), Amaia Conner (6-0, 6-0),
Trinitee Henry (6-0, 6-0) and
Yanna Cunningham (6-0, 6-0).
The doubles team of Nolan/Warner lost their match 6-1, Welch/Conner lost 6-2 and the duo of Henry/Cunningham lost their match 6-0.
Savannah State lost all three doubles matches against Albany State with Nolan/Warner losing 6-2 and Welch/Henry and Conner/Cunningham both losing their matches 6-0.
The singles matches with Albany State were stopped because of the rain.
