MOBILE, Ala.- Savannah State ended their regular season on Friday afternoon with a 7-0 loss to Tuskegee in the final day of action in the SIAC Roundup at the Mobile Tennis Center.
The number one doubles team of
Madeleine Anne Nolan and
Nyla Warner lost their match 0-6 as did the number three doubles duo of
Katelynn Welch and
Simone Reese. The number two doubles team of
Sunzahra Banks and
Amaia Connor fell 1-6.
Nolan fell in her number one singles match 1-6, 2-6. Warner played in the number two singles and lost her opening set 2-6 before retiring. Banks pushed her opponent in the number three singles before losing 3-6, 2-6. In the number four and five singles, Welch and Connor both lost 0-6, 0-6 while in the number six singles, Reese fell 0-6, 2-6 to her opponent.
Savannah State ends the regular season 4-9 overall while having a 4-8 SIAC record.
