MACON, Ga.- On October 21,
Jaden-Wayne McPherson was named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week and on Friday morning the freshman from Ellenwood, Georgia led Savannah State University to a seventh place finish in the men's SIAC Championships. The event was held at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course at Middle Georgia State University.
The Tigers finished the 8k race with 222 points.
Jaaden-Wayne McPherson had a run of 30:44.80 to finish in the top 20 at 19th out of 95 runners.
Braylin Grier had a run of 32:03.64 to finish 29th and Billy Johnson had a personal best time of 32:13.60 to finish 31st.
Cameron Frails came in 75th after his run of 41:18.09 and
Kaden Christy was 76th with his time of 41:27.25.
Morehouse won the men's title with 26 points while Tuskegee was second with 61 points and Lane was third with 77 points, to round of the top three teams.
