ATLANTA, Ga.- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released their 2024 All-Conference team on April 20, 2024 at Savannah State's Padmasree Murugan was among the honorees.
 
Murugan was recognized as the winner of the Elite 14 Award.
 
The award is presented to the student-athlete who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the SIAC championship level in his or her sport while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.
 
During the season, Murugan had a 11-5 overall record in singles play and a 11-3 record among SIAC competition. In doubles play, her overall record was 7-9 while having a 7-7 conference record.
 
A senior from Chennai,India, Murugan carries a 4.0 grade point average while majoring in Computer Science Technology.
