SAVANNAH, Ga.- Savannah State will begin play in the 2024 Cricket SIAC Men's Golf Championship on April 22, 2024 at Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington, Kentucky.

Practice rounds will take place on April 22 and the two-day tournament will be April 23-24, starting at 8:30 a.m. ET.

SSU's
Jaden Saunders was the tournament low medalist last year with a score of 216 (73-71-72) while Savannah State finished runner-up by one stroke in the tournament to Spring Hill.

The Tigers shot 905 (297, 301, 307) to finish runner-up in the team leaderboard. Spring Hill took top honors with a three-round 904 (293, 293, 318). Kentucky State finished third with a 905 followed by Miles (924), LeMoyne-Owen (1107) and Morehouse (1302).

Saunders will be looking to defend his crown as he leads Savannah State into the conference championships.

In two tournaments this spring, Saunders was the individual winner at the HBCU Golf Championship with a score of 217 (70-72-75) and finished 13th at the Alabama State Invitational with a two-day score of 161 (80-81).

Lucas Parisi was sixth at the HBCU Golf Championships after shooting a 228 (73-75-80) while carding a 167 982-85) at the ASU Invitational.
Mark Greene was 11th at the Johnson and Wales Invitational with a score of 163 (83-80) and shot 176 at the Alabama State Invitational.
Todd Norman carded a 166 (83-83) at Johnson & Wales and shot 230 (74-78-78) at the HBCU Championships.
