SAVANNAH, Ga.- The Savannah State men's golf team won the SSU Spring Fling which was played at Crosswinds Country Club.
 
SSU and Western Illinois were tied with scores of 298 but Savannah State came out the winner after the fifth man tie breaker.
 
Butler placed third with a score of 299 while Indiana-East had a score of 310 to finish fourth and Earlham's score of 321 put them in fifth place.
 
Individually, SSU's Dylan Mullaney and Kyle Irlbacker of Western Illinois were tied for low medalist honors at 71 bur Mullaney won the playoff for first place honors.
 
Savannah State's Zach Otto (73) was tied for fourth, Jaden Thiemann (76) was tied for eighth, Korbin Allen (78) finished tied for 18th, Lance Eldridge (79) was 20th, Brett Ammons (87) was tied for 34th and Sam Adkins (99) was 45th.
