SAVANNAH, Ga.- In a match-up between the Orange and Blue, Savannah State will host Morgan State in a double-header at Tiger Arena on February 11.
 
The women's game will start at 5:30 p.m. while the men's game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
 
Both SSU teams enter the game following a win over Coppin State on February 9.
 
The Lady Tigers (5-13, 3-6 MEAC) snapped a five-game losing streak with a 68-57 win over CSU.
 
In the victory, Alexxus Sowell had 12 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks. Myasia Jones added 14 points, five assists and five steals while Jalea Gray and Jacquece Alston scored 10 points each.
 
Morgan State (8-16, 6-4 MEAC) played at South Carolina State on Feb. 9 and defeated the Bulldogs 63-61.
 
Adre'onia Coleman anchors the Bears offense with 16.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
 
The Morgan State women  defeated SSU 63-47 in Baltimore, Maryland on January 7.
 
Tyrell Harper came off the bench to score 23 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out four assists to lead the Savannah State (8-15, 56-4 MEAC)  men to a 71-62 win over Coppin State. Romani Hansen added 12 points for the Tigers, who have won three in a row.
 
Morgan State (8-15, 3-7) fell to South Carolina State in their last outing, 85-81.
 
The Bears, who are riding a three game losing skid, are led by Stanley Davis (12.3 points and  6.5 rebounds).
 
SSU edged Morgan on the road on Jan. 7 by a score of 88-87.
