SAVANNAH, Ga.- Savannah State's
Zach Otto earned low medalist honors at the Savannah State Tiger Fall Invitational by shooting a three round score of 217.
The three-day event was played at Crosswinds Golf Club.
Otto had scores of 72-72-73 to finish +1.
As a team, Savannah State fired a final round 308 to finish third at the event behind Bethune-Cookman (895) and Florida A&M (908).
SSU had scores of 312-312-308 to finish with a score of 932.
The remaining field of teams included Hampton (938), North Carolina A&T (939), Maryland-Eastern Shore (1064) and North Carolina Central (1087).
SSU's Dylan Mullaney (232) was tied for 11, Tray Odum (237) finished 18th while Matt Thomas (239) was right behind him at 19th and
Jaden Thiemann (244) finished 22nd.
Savannah State golfers playing as individuals were Sam Adkins (249), Lance Eldridge (251), Jake Johnson (255) and Brett Ammons (263).
Adkins placed 26th while Eldridge was tied for 27th, Johnson was 31st and Ammons finished 33rd.
Behind Otto, Jake Lane of Bethune-Cookman finished second with a score of 219 followed by Hampton's Evertt Whiten (221), Bethune's Dante Davis (223) and A&T's Xavier Williams (224).
