KILLEN, Ala.- The Savannah State men's golf team participated in the TVA Credit Union Invitational which was held at Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club and hosted by North Alabama.
 
The tournament took place October 15-16.
 
As a team, SSU shot a three round score of 932 (316-307-309) and finished ninth overall.
 
The Tigers were led by Zach Otto who finished tied for 28th with a score of 225 (79-73-73) while Matt Thomas carded a 232 (76-77-79) which was good enough for 44th.
 
Other SSU golfers who participated were Jaden Thieman (52nd), Tray Odom (56th) and Dylan Mullaney (tied for 57th).
 
Thieman shot 239 (81-80-78), Odom shot 242 (80-77-85) and Mullaney shot 243 (81-83-79).
 
Jacksonville State won the tournament with a three round score of 848 (285-282-281) while Morgan Egloff of Rollins was low medalist after shooting 208 (69-66-73).
