SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah State University women's basketball team (2-10, 0-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) finishes an eight-game roadstand against Morgan State University (9-6, 2-0 MEAC) in Baltimore, Md.
 
Junior forward Kaylee Allen leads the Lady Tigers with 12.8 points per game, which ranks ninth in the MEAC, and averages 4.3 rebounds, while junior guard Donasja Scott averages 11.0 points and 6.2 rebounds. 
 
Freshman center Alexxus Sowell leads the team with 7.1 rebounds per game, which ranks seventh in the MEAC, and leads with 1.3 blocks per game, which ranks sixth in the conference, while freshman guard Heniaya Moton averages 6.8 points and freshman guard Teyah Johnson averages 6.3 points.
 
Morgan State has won the last three games, including the first two MEAC games of the season.  The Bears are led by Lexus Spears with 14.1 points per game and with 7.1 rebounds per game, while Braennan Farrar adds 12.1 points per game and 4.9 rebounds per game and Tykyrah Williams with 10.1 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per game.
 
The Lady Tigers return home for one of two four game homestand starting with University of Maryland Eastern Shore Saturday at 4 p.m. in Tiger Arena for SSU's home MEAC home opener.
