SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah State University women's tennis team (0-19) faces University of Louisiana at Monroe (10-3) Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and Georgia Southern University (9-7) Sunday at noon in Statesboro, Ga., for the final two matches of the season.
Geronimo leads the team with a 6-12 singles record, including a 6-9 record at the No. 2 singles position, while Vivas has recorded a 3-16 singles record, including a 2-7 record at the No. 4 singles position.
Louisiana Monroe is 2-1 in the last three matches and has posted a 1-2 record in the Sun Belt Conference.
Georgia Southern has lost the last two games, both of them conference matches, and has posted a 0-2 record in the Sun Belt. GSU has played against two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opponents this season beating South Carolina State 5-2 and Bethune-Cookman 4-3.
