Game Notes: · SSU and Howard will meet for only the sixth time in the series. SSU leads the series 4-1. Howard's lone win in the series came last year when the Bison visited Savannah and defeated the Tigers 50-48. SSU won all four game in the series prior to that.
· The Tigers got their first road victory of the season last Saturday when SSU won 60-57 at South Carolina State. After a week layoff, SSU is looking their second victory outside of Savannah this season.
· SSU's
Lenjo Kilo leads the Tigers with four double-doubles so far this season. Kilo, a graduate transfer student, has had double-doubles in two of the Tigers' last five games. Kilo had a career-high 23 points against Bethune-Cookman.
· After winning its last three straight, the Tigers have improved to 6-6 in conference play and have jumped to the 5th place spot in the MEAC standings.
