COLUMBIA, S.C. - Savannah State University will compete in the University of South Carolina Gamecock Invitational at the Sandhill Research and Education Center in Columbia, S.C. on Tuesday, October 4 at 5:30 p.m.

Admission is free.

This past weekend, SSU competed in the Bulldog Duels in Orangeburg, S.C. with the men coming in first place overall, while the women placed fourth overall.

Freshman Sahlu Atakilti led the men finishing in third place with a time of 26:42.0 while Miara Elmore led the women placing in 10^th place with a time of 24:31.5.
