NOTES:
> Savannah State enters today's final home game having won 12 of their last 14 games.  They are currently on a season-high six game winning streak.
> This is the second meeting between North Carolina Central and SSU this season, and the 17th game in the series. The Lady Tigers improved their series record against NCCU to 9-7 behind an 82-61 win in the team's last meeting on Jan. 12 in Durham, North Carolina.
> SSU is holding steady in second place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) standings behind five-time defending champion Hampton (12-2). NCCU is ninth in the MEAC standings with a 5-9 conference record.
> SSU has been stellar in the Tiger Den over the last two years. In the current season they are 9-3 with huge program wins over Florida and Hampton. Since the beginning of the 2013-14 season, the Lady Tigers are 19-5 in Tiger Arena.
> The Lady Tigers lead the MEAC in steals averaging 12.2 a game. They are ranked fourth in the nation in steals per game.
> MEAC preseason player of the year Ezinne Kalu leads the Lady Tigers, averaging 16.6 points a game. She is nationally ranked in scoring and steals per game.  Following Kalu is senior Jasmine Norman. A true sixth woman, Norman has been averaging 10.8 points a game, off the bench. Sophomore Kenyata Hendrix - who led the Lady Tigers to a 55-52 win in their last outing with 18 points - is third on the team in scoring, averaging 9.5 points a game.
