NOTES:
> Savannah State continues its two-game road swing to Baltimore with the program's fourth game against Coppin State. SSU is winless against the Lady Eagles. They fell 53-68 in the team's last meeting on Jan. 11, 2014 in Baltimore.
> SSU enters Monday's game off a key 72-58 victory over Morgan State on Saturday. The win lifted SSU to a 6-3 record in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), giving them sole possession of third place. They trail No. 2 Norfolk State (7-3), and No. 1 Hampton (7-2); two teams they have beat this year.
> The Lady Tigers are led by MEAC preseason player of the year, redshirt senior Ezinne Kalu. The Newark, NJ native is averaging 16.8 points a game. In a rare off night, Kalu only managed 8 points against Morgan State. Teammates, Kenyata Hendrix and Bria Dorsey stepped up in the important game, scoring 20 and 19 points, respectively. Senior Jasmine Norman follows Kalu in the stats and is the only other Lady Tiger averaging double-digit scoring (10.5). Tiyonda Davis - who recorded her first double-double of the season against Morgan State (10-10) - leads the team in rebounds, averaging 6.9 a game.
> As a team, SSU is averaging 63.3 points a game; the No. 1 scoring offense in the MEAC.
