NOTES:
> Savannah State enters Monday's Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) game with Florida A&M having won 10 of their last 12 games.
> SSU has been stellar in the Tiger Den over the last two years. In the current season they are 8-3 with huge program wins over Florida and Hampton. Since the beginning of the 2013-14 season, the Lady Tigers are 18-5 in Tiger Arena.
> SSU is in second place in the MEAC standings.  They trail No. 1 Hampton (10-2), who they beat 61-55 on January 24.
> This will be the 23rd meeting of SSU and Florida A&M. The Lady Rattlers lead the series 18-3. SSU beat FAMU in a quarterfinals game of the 2014 MEAC Championship, 84-75, in the team's last meeting.
> As a team, SSU is the No. 1 scoring offense in the MEAC, averaging 63.5 points a game. They also lead the conference in steals, averaging 12.2 a game. Nationally, SSU is ranked third in steals per game. In the NCAA RPI rankings, the Lady Tigers are ranked 180 out of 349 Division I programs.
> MEAC Preseason Player of the Year Ezinne Kalu became the first basketball player in SSU's Division I history to eclipse 2,000 career points in the Lady Tiger's 70-59 win over Howard. Kalu leads the MEAC and is ranked 10th nationally in steals, averaging 3.23 a game. Nationally, she is 76th  in scoring.  Among active players, she is the third highest NCAA Division I women's basketball scorer, and leads all active players in NCAA Division I women's basketball in career steals (355).
