Game Notes:
· SSU will meet Howard for the 5th time with Savannah State leading the series, 4-0. Howard is in a three-way tie for the fourth place spot in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference standings, while SSU sits in the 12th place position.

· Horace Broadnax will coach in his 300th game as SSU's head men's basketball coach against Howard on Saturday. Broadnax, who is in 10th season at the helm, currently has a 124-175 record at SSU.

· This is the second of a four-game home stand for SSU. The Tigers lost to S.C. State last Saturday and will host Howard, Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman in Tiger Arena over the next week.

· Defense is the pride of any Horace Broadnax coached team. The Tigers are ranked 1st in the MEAC and 6th nationally in steals averaging 9.3 per game. SSU is also first in the conference and 14th nationally in total steals with 222.
