SMYRNA, Del.- The Savannah State women's cross country squad finished 10th at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championships, held at the Delaware State Outreach and Research Center.
 
Freshman Sholonda Snell was the top finisher for SSU with a run of 21:45.60. The McDonough, Georgia native finished 52nd overall.
 
Miara Elmore finished the 5k race with 55th with a time of 21:57.30 while Kourtney Sizemore was timed at 22:25.70 and finished 63rd.
 
Freshmen Kiana Robinson and Jahmee Reeves were 69th and 70th respectively. Robinson had a run of 22:40.50 while Reeves posted a time of 22:44.70.
 
Cynthia Chelelgo of Florida A&M was the overall winner with a time of 17:49.60. The Rattlers were also the team winner.
