HARDEEVILLE, S.C.- Savannah State University competed in the 18th Sand Shark Invitational hosted by USC Beaufort at the Sergeant Jasper Park on Saturday morning.
SSU finished the 5k race in 13th place with 369 points.
Jada Dubose led Savannah State with a time of 25:10.5 and finished in 90th place.
Kaliyah Brown was 99th with a time of 28:19.3 while
Camille Tinsley had a run of 32:50.2 to finish 104.
Saniya Swain was right behind Tinsley in 105 after being clocked at 32:54.7 while
Victoria Taylor finished 107 following her time of 34:33.9.
Savannah State's next race will be the SIAC Championship on October 23 in Macon, Georgia.
