Kaliyah Brown finished eighth overall to lead Savannah State at the Harden Street Challenge on Wednesday afternoon at the Owens Field Park. The meet was hosted by Benedict.
Brown had a time of 27:39.77 for the Lady Tigers in the 5k event.
Spots 10, 11 and 12 belonged to Savannah State with
Saniya Swain (31:00.79) finishing 10th while Jada Dubose (31:00.80) was 11th and
Camille Tinsley (32:19.62) finished 12th.
Victoria Taylor had a run of 35:05.68 to finish 15th.
Benedict won the meet with 30 points followed by Allen (34) and SSU (56).
The squad preps to close the season at the SIAC Cross Country Championships on Thursday, October 23rd in Macon.
