Lady Tigers Wrap Up Season At SIAC Cross Country Championships

MACON, Ga.- Savannah State's women's cross country team participated in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships presented by Toyota on Friday morning which were held at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course at Middle Georgia State University.

As a team Savannah State came in 13th place with 321 points.

Jada Dubose was the top runner for the Lady Tigers. Dubose came in 45th with a time of 25:11.60 in the 5k race.

Kaliyah Brown finished 53rd with her run of 26:33.74.

Rounding out the SSU runners were Saniya Swain, Camille Tinsley and Victoria Taylor.

Swain was 70th with her run of 31:08.07 while Tinsely finished 76th after being timed at 31:56.01 and Taylor was right behind her in 77th wither a run of 31:56.22.

Albany State was thee overall winner with 44 points. Tuskegee came in second with 57 points and Lane was third with 72 points to round out the top three.
