> Savannah State opens the full Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) schedule on the road this weekend after a 95-47 rout of Allen this past Tuesday in their final nonconference game of the regular season.
> The Lady Tigers enter the 10th game of the series against North Carolina A&T State looking for only their second victory over the Aggies.
> SSU has never defeated NCAT in MEAC play. Their only win came in the 2001-02 season under Anita Walsh-Harris. (SSU joined the MEAC in the 2011-12 season) 12th year head coach Cedric Baker is winless against the Aggies.
> NCAT was slated to win the MEAC this year, outing five-time defending champion Hampton in the preseason poll.
> They face the MEAC Preseason Player of the Year in SSU redshirt senior Ezinne Kalu. She leads the Lady Tigers averaging 17.8 points a game.
> SSU is 0-1 in the MEAC this year after falling to Bethune-Cookman on Dec. 6. The Aggies are 1-1 with a win over Howard and a loss to current league leader Maryland Eastern Shore (2-0).
