> Savannah State concludes a four-game Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) road stretch with a visit to Delaware State.
> The Lady Tigers are coming off a 61-50 loss to Maryland Eastern Shore; a defeat that came after this year's squad garnered the program's first back-to-back MEAC road wins.
> Monday will be the 7th meeting in the series between SSU and Delaware State since the 2001-02 season. The Lady Hornets have a 4-2 advantage in the series; SSU is 2-2 on the road against Delaware State; 12th year head coach Cedric Baker is 2-0 against DSU.
> SSU earned a close 77-71 victory over DSU in the last meeting, on February 10, 2014 in Dover.
> The Lady Tigers are led by MEAC Preseason Player of the Year, and redshirt senior, Ezinne Kalu, who is averaging 17.4 points a game. She leads the team and the MEAC in steals, averaging 3.1 a game. Following Kalu in the stats, senior Jasmine Norman is averaging 10.4 points a game.
> Rhianna Warren returned to the lineup in SSU's last outing. She missed 12 games due to a broken nose.
