Tiger Bites
· SSU will meet N.C. Central for the seventeenth time with NCCU having won the last three straight. The series is tied 3-3 since both teams entered the MEAC in 2011-12.

· SSU is still vying for its first road win of the season. The Tigers are 0-11overall and 0-1 MEAC when playing on the road so far this season.

· Senior and the team's only four-year letterwinner, Keierre Richards returned to the starting lineup against N.C. A&T after suffering a knee injury that sidelined him for 13 games. Richards has played in three games this season and averages 3.3 ppg.

· The Tigers are currently ranked 308th in the Division I ESPN RPI rankings out of 351 schools. SSU is 8th amongst MEAC institutions with N.C. Central leading at the 96th spot. 

· Defense is the pride of any Horace Broadnax coached team. The Tigers are ranked 1st in the MEAC and 7th nationally in steals averaging 9.7 per game. SSU is also first in the conference and 17th nationally in total steals with 146.
