THE GAME:
Savannah State concluded an historic regular season with a 17-13 overall record, this past Thursday in Tiger Arena.

The 2013-14 squad are now the winningest team in the program's Division I era (Since 2002-03). They also set a record in Tiger Arena for the best Division I home record, (10-2).

SSU enters the 2014 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) tournament as the 5th seed after a 10-6 conference season, their best seeding in three years of MEAC competition.

The Lady Tigers are winless in their last two appearances in the MEAC Championship. SSU and Morgan State did not meet in the regular season this year. Their last meeting was on January 14, 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland. SSU fell to the Lady Bears 50-68.

Senior Ezinne Kalu leads the team, averaging 16.1 points per game. Senior Jasmine Kirkland trails Kalu with a 9.8 avg. Freshman Tiyonda Davis leads SSU in rebounds, averaging 7.1 per game.
