· With a win today, the Tigers will have solidified the 5th place in the MEAC standings heading into the tournament. As the 5th seed, SSU will play the 12th seed on Monday, March 10 at 9 p.m. If SSU losses tonight and Florida A&M wins, the Tigers will drop to 6th place and play on Tuesday, March 11 at 9 p.m.

· SSU will meet SCSU for the second time this season. In the first meeting, the Tigers defeated the Bulldogs, 75-65 in Tiger Arena. SSU's Deven Williams led all scorers with 16 points.
