Tennis Falls To Towson

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The women's tennis squad dropped a shortened match to Towson University on Tuesday in Charleston, South Carolina.

SSU fell 0-6 in the match. The Lady Tigers fall to 5-12 on the season.

In the first singles court, Andrea Pavlovic dropped her match to Nani Lizana in straight sets, 0-6 and 3-6. Angela Bonilla fell to Ayana Dow in the second court, 1-6 and 1-6.

Nadin Olsson dropped the third court to Sophie Lesage, 2-6 and 3-6. Jennyfer Vivas lost in straight sets, 0-6 and 0-6, to Lorena Ferrer.

Nicole Ashiedu fell to Nisha Shah in the fifth court, 1-6 and 0-6, while Tiffany Williams fell to Ariel Burke 0-6 and 0-6. Double's competition was not played due to threatening weather.

SSU will stay in Charleston to play the College of Charleston on Thursday. First serve is set for 5 p.m.
