THE GAME:
The Lady Tigers head back to Jacksonville, Florida this weekend for the Wingate by Wyndham Tournament, hosted by Jacksonville University.

SSU suffered four back-to-back losses in the 2014 Osprey Invitational last weekend, also in Jacksonville. The Lady Tigers will face Southern Illinois for the third time this season to open the tournament. They lost in both of the other meetings.

SSU is also set to play The University of Illinois at Chicago, Mount St. Mary's and host Jacksonville University over the three-day tournament. The Lady Tigers are 3-6 heading into the third of five tournaments that open the season.

SSU is led by the Hallman sisters. Amber Hallman leads the team at the plate with nine hits and a .346 batting average. Amanda Hallman leads the team from the mound with a 2-4 record and a 4.41 ERA. Amb. Hallman is close to her big sister in the batting stats as well with nine hits and a .333 average.

Head Coach Jose Gonzalez, in his 7^th year at the helm, is the all-time winningest softball coach in SSU history. In the Lady Tigers first year competing in the Mid-Eastern Atheltic Conference (MEAC), 2012, Gonzalez led the team to the regular season MEAC Southern Division Title. It was the first winning season in the program's history (26-24).
