Quick Notes:                        
· With five conference games remaining, the Tigers are currently in 5th place in the MEAC standings. North Carolina
Central (10-1) is in first place followed by Hampton (9-3), Norfolk State (8-3), and Morgan State (7-3).

· Today marks the first of two times the Tigers and Eagles will meet this year. The next meeting will be on March 3 in Durham, N.C. The game will be aired on ESPNU.

· SSU's leading scorer Deven Williams scored a season 24 points in the Tigers' win over N.C. A&T on Saturday. His 24 points were 2 shy of his career high 26.

· N.C. Central enters today's game as the 1st seed with 10-1 conference record. N.C. Central is led by Jeremy Ingram who is averaging 18.8 ppg and 3.6 rpg.

· SSU's Jyles Smith was named the MEAC Player of the Week (1/12) and MEAC Defensive Player of the Week (11/18); Jeremiah Hill received Newcomer of the Week honors for the week ending 1/12.
