THE GAME:
Savannah State will look to bounce back from only their second loss this season in Tiger Arena. SSU fell to N.C. A&T this past Saturday, 61-75.

SSU is sitting in 4th place in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) standings behind 12-0 Hampton, 9-2 N.C. A&T, and 9-3 Coppin State.

Today's match is the 13th meeting of the team's in SSU's recorded history. The Lady Eagles lead the series 7-5.

The Lady Tigers currently hold the best Division I home record and MEAC record in the program's history. SSU is one win from the best overall season record in the program's Division I history.

Head coach Cedric Baker, in his 11th year, has amassed over 100 D-I, and SSU wins, as well as 300 career wins this season.

SSU's multiple scoring threats included senior's Ezinne Kalu (16.1 avg), and Jasmine Kirkland (9.8 avg), junior Jasmine Norman (9.0 avg), and freshman Tiyonda Davis (6.7 avg.) Davis leads the team in rebounds with 186 (7.4 avg).
