NOTES:
>Savannah State concludes a tough five-game road stretch with their first visit to the annual Fordham Holiday Classic in Bronx, New York.
>The Classic will be the first time in SSU's Division I era (2002-03) the Lady Tigers will play Fordham and Hartford. It will also be the first time they face an opponent from the American East. SSU lost to James Madison in the 2006-07 season. (It was James Madison's final season in the Atlantic 10 Conference.)
>The Lady Tigers enter the Holiday tournament on a four-game losing streak that included a rout by #1 South Carolina, a 6-point loss to Auburn, and a 51-97 loss to Florida State.
>Two Lady Tigers return to their home stomping grounds: Redshirt senior, Newark, NJ native Ezinne Kalu, and freshman, Cape May Court House, NJ native Lauryn Fields.
>Three Lady Tigers will not dress for the tournament. Rhianna Warren and Charmia Graham will miss due to injury. Walk-on Jademone Jones was unable to make the trip.
>After 10 games, Kalu continues to lead the team, averaging 19.2 points a game. Kalu scored a season-high 26 points in a 53-63 loss to Fordham in the first day of the tournament.
