GAME NOTES:
In the middle of this year's toughest road stretch, SSU enters Friday's contest with Florida State - the only ACC opponent the Lady Tigers face this year - off a 6-point loss to Auburn on Wednesday.

SSU is 0-1 against Florida State in the NCAA Division I era (2002-03). In their last meeting, the Lady Tigers fell 28-107 to the Seminoles on Nov. 23, 2003 in coach Cedric Baker's first season at Savannah State.

SSU is 0-7 against ACC opponents in the Division I era. The Lady Tigers have played Wake Forest and Georgia Tech three times each, all in the coach Baker era.

The Lady Tigers are looking to snap a three game losing streak on Friday. Their last win was a 68-58 upset of Florida in Tiger Arena on Dec. 4. It was the program's first win over an SEC program.

Savannah State is led by its returning starters. Redshirt senior, and MEAC Preseason Player of the Year, Ezinne Kalu is averaging 18.4 points an outing and leads the team in assists with 27. Jasmine Norman is averaging 10.9 points a game, while Kenyata Hendrix is draining 10.1 points a game.
